Migraine Treatment for Neck-Related Headache Concerns in Pooler

This service is for people who notice headaches with neck pain, restricted movement, upper-back tension, or symptoms after an injury. The main decision is whether a musculoskeletal assessment fits your symptoms and goals.

Our migraine treatment approach does not promise that every headache comes from the neck. We review the pattern, examine movement, and discuss whether chiropractic care belongs in your plan. If symptoms point beyond musculoskeletal care, we encourage appropriate medical follow-up.

Dr. NiAmber Harris leads the Garden City practice and focuses on personal injury care. Our clinic also supports patients recovering from auto accidents, workplace injuries, sports injuries, and other traumatic events.

  • Bring a list of current symptoms, known injuries, and health concerns.
  • Describe where neck pain starts and how it relates to headache symptoms.
  • Tell us about prior imaging, treatment, or changes in daily movement.
  • Ask which care options fit your recovery goals and current condition.

Process

How We Assess And Plan Migraine Care

1

Review the headache history

The new patient intake records symptom patterns, past injuries, health history, and current care goals.

2

Check neck movement

The examination checks posture, neck range of motion, spinal function, and related muscle tension.

3

Consider clinical imaging

Diagnostic imaging or X-rays may be considered when the clinical assessment indicates they could help.

4

Explain the findings

We discuss the report of findings and explain which care options match the assessment.

5

Build the care plan

The personalized treatment plan may include spinal manipulation, exercises, massage therapy, or neuromuscular therapy.

What Patients Receive From This Care

A clear fit check

The first assessment helps decide whether musculoskeletal care fits your headache pattern. Severe, sudden, or unusual symptoms need medical evaluation, not chiropractic care alone.

Personalized treatment planning

Your plan may combine spinal manipulation, therapeutic exercise, massage therapy, or neuromuscular therapy based on your findings.

Support after injury

Our clinic works with people recovering from auto accidents, workplace injuries, sports injuries, and other traumatic events.

From the moment I walked in, Dr. Harris and her staff have treated me with kindness, compassion, and professionalism. Dr. Harris took the time to explain my injuries, my treatment plan, and what to expect throughout my recovery. She truly cares for her patients like family. I am incredibly grateful for the outstanding care I have received. Even after my case is over, I plan to continue coming back for my alignments and chiropractic care. Thank you, Dr. Harris and the entire team, for everything you have done for me.

Earlier this year I had a reoccurring injury. It usually flares up every few years, this year it happened twice . The first time ,I went to The Joint and another chiropractor for 2 and a half weeks. I missed almost 2 weeks of work, so in September, it hit again, so I was able to make a Friday appointment. I went in and got a substantial amount relief after one visit. I took 1 day off to get another treatment. I only missed 1 day of work, by my choice. In May with 2 other chiropractors I missed almost 2 weeks. Unless I move, I'M NOT GOING TO ANYONE ELSE!. Dr Harris and her staff was great. I've been to several chiropractors in Georgia and Florida. She is the best that I've had and she gave me countless tips to prevent more painful flare upset. Thank you Doc !

Coming into the office, the ladies at the reception desk were very professional and welcoming. They are very knowledgeable about the services that are offer in the office and as well as provided valuable aftercare information. The doctors that offer treatment are very pleasant to speak with and handled each patient with care. As first time patient, the experience overall was very satisfying. I would highly recommend anyone needing care to give the office in Garden City a call or stop by, walk-ins are taken as well. Smile.

Questions About Neck-Related Migraine Care

What should I bring to the first appointment?

A symptom list, health history, medication list, and prior imaging can help with the first visit.

  • Note when headaches begin and what symptoms appear with them.
  • Bring details about recent auto, work, or sports injuries.
  • Share insurance or claim information when it relates to your care.

Missing records won't prevent an assessment, but useful history can make the discussion clearer.

Which neck findings guide the care plan?

Neck range of motion, joint function, posture, and muscle tension guide the care plan. The examination also considers symptoms that travel into the shoulder or arm. We may discuss spinal manipulation, soft tissue therapy, or exercises based on those findings. The plan should match your condition, goals, and response to care.

When is another type of care needed?

Medical evaluation is needed for sudden, severe, unusual, or rapidly changing headache symptoms. Chiropractic care fits musculoskeletal concerns after the examination supports that choice. Our team explains when the findings fall outside this service. In Pooler, patients can discuss their symptoms with us, but urgent warning signs should receive prompt medical attention.

How does an auto accident change the first visit?

An auto accident adds injury history, whiplash symptoms, and claim details to the first visit. We review how the collision affected neck movement and daily activities. Personal injury documentation may also be discussed when appropriate. Care can include rehabilitation exercises, soft tissue therapy, and other options that match the examination.

Why might exercises be part of headache care?

Therapeutic exercises help patients practice neck control, posture, and movement between visits. Exercises may support the hands-on care selected during the assessment. We explain how each exercise relates to your goals and current ability. Stop an exercise that causes new or worsening symptoms and tell our team what happened.
