About

What care for a herniated disc includes

Herniated disc treatment focuses on symptoms, movement, and the demands of daily life. We may use chiropractic adjustments, spinal decompression, soft tissue therapy, massage therapy, or therapeutic exercises based on your evaluation. Our approach is not a fixed routine. We adapt techniques to your condition and comfort, then explain what each option is intended to address. Results vary, and some symptoms may need medical assessment beyond chiropractic care. A useful treatment record includes your health history, examination findings, proposed care, and progress notes. We explain those findings in plain language, so you can make an informed choice about the next step.

Earlier this year I had a reoccurring injury. It usually flares up every few years, this year it happened twice . The first time ,I went to The Joint and another chiropractor for 2 and a half weeks. I missed almost 2 weeks of work, so in September, it hit again, so I was able to make a Friday appointment. I went in and got a substantial amount relief after one visit. I took 1 day off to get another treatment. I only missed 1 day of work, by my choice. In May with 2 other chiropractors I missed almost 2 weeks. Unless I move, I'M NOT GOING TO ANYONE ELSE!. Dr Harris and her staff was great. I've been to several chiropractors in Georgia and Florida. She is the best that I've had and she gave me countless tips to prevent more painful flare upset. Thank you Doc !

Coming into the office, the ladies at the reception desk were very professional and welcoming. They are very knowledgeable about the services that are offer in the office and as well as provided valuable aftercare information. The doctors that offer treatment are very pleasant to speak with and handled each patient with care. As first time patient, the experience overall was very satisfying. I would highly recommend anyone needing care to give the office in Garden City a call or stop by, walk-ins are taken as well. Smile.

Questions about care for a herniated disc

Who provides herniated disc treatment at your Garden City clinic?

Arrowhead Clinic Chiropractor Garden City provides herniated disc treatment at 109 Minus Ave Suite C-2. Dr. NiAmber Harris leads the practice and focuses on personal injury care. We begin with a health history and focused evaluation, then explain suitable options such as adjustments, spinal decompression, therapeutic exercises, or soft tissue therapy.

What decides the cost of spinal decompression or massage therapy?

The treatment plan, services selected, and documentation needs influence the cost of care. We explain proposed care and upfront pricing before you commit. You can also ask about insurance documentation and personal injury claims. Our staff can help with claim paperwork when it applies to your situation.

Can care help after an auto, work, or sports injury?

Yes, we provide injury-care services after auto accidents, workplace injuries, sports injuries, and other traumatic events. The first visit connects the injury history with your current symptoms and movement. We may coordinate with personal injury attorneys when appropriate, while your treatment plan remains based on your condition and goals.

Should I choose adjustments or spinal decompression for a herniated disc?

The evaluation determines whether adjustments, spinal decompression, or both fit your condition. Adjustments address selected movement and posture concerns, while decompression may suit appropriate disc and spine-related conditions. We explain the reason for each option before care begins, and we adapt techniques to your comfort.

What should I bring to my first appointment?

Bring your symptom history, current medicine list, relevant records, and any imaging reports you have. Those details help us understand your condition and injury history. Insurance information can also help with documentation or claims. You don't need to wait for every record before requesting an appointment.

When should disc pain receive medical attention?

New or worsening numbness, weakness, or severe symptoms deserve prompt medical attention. We review disc-related pain and movement limits through a focused evaluation, but some symptoms need medical care beyond chiropractic treatment. Tell us about changes in strength, sensation, or daily function when you request an appointment.

Scenarios

When Customers Call Us About Herniated Disc Treatment

1

Pain After a Work Injury

Back or neck pain after a workplace injury can affect lifting, sitting, and walking. The care plan needs to reflect the injury history, current symptoms, and daily demands. We review those details during the health history and focused evaluation, then explain treatment options and documentation needs before you decide how to proceed.

2

Sciatica With Movement Limits

Sciatica may travel from the lower back into the hip or leg, and movement can become harder. The pattern matters because nerve symptoms can have more than one cause. We assess your movement and health history, then discuss whether spinal decompression, adjustments, soft tissue therapy, or exercises fit your condition.

3

Unclear Cause of Neck Pain

Neck pain with arm symptoms can make work, sleep, or daily tasks difficult. A focused evaluation helps separate disc-related concerns from other movement problems. We document the symptoms, consider imaging when clinically indicated, and explain the findings before recommending an individualized care plan.
